Reviews
We stopped by for a quick bite before heading to the concert at Levi's Stadium, and it was the perfect choice. I tried the Fried Chicken Box, and it was fantastic. The hand-cut, panko-breaded chicken thighs were crispy outside and tender inside. The mix of salad, pickled carrots, cucumber, and sauces added great flavors. The chicken itself was impressively seasoned. Plus, it's super close to the stadium, making it an ideal spot for a meal before heading to an event.
*Highly recommended for concert-goers!
The best chicken rice I've ever had outside of Singapore.
This place has incredible chicken rice. On the kiosk, I ordered dark meat, with skin, with chicken broth, and a container of Singapore soy sauce. The chicken was perfectly poached. It was tender and just wonderful. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The broth was perfectly salted and tasted great; I had the whole cup all at once. The Singapore soy sauce seemed to be soy sauce diluted with chicken broth. I used about half the container. I appreciated the shredded carrots, sliced cucumbers, and cilantro on the side.
I also ordered some fried chicken skin, because I've never had it. It came in a wax paper bag and had a strong chicken-y smell. The skin was like pork rinds but chicken. For my drink, I had a can of coconut water. My total after tax, before tip was $23.98, which felt fair for what I got.
Here's why I'm taking a star off: I saw and heard two employees bullying a third employee for wearing a mask. There were two guys, one with a cap and one with a beard, and they continued to comment on a female employee who was wearing a mask.
I loved the food here. It brought a smile to my face. However, some of the employees need to grow up.
First visit after working in area for 10 years (found via GrubHub, 4 out of 5 star reviews). Good tasting chicken, rice and sauces. Will return soon.
Worth place for having some chicken and rice best dish Hainan chicken box with Singapore sause and chicken broth taken me into Thailand street food days best place give it a try
The famous dishes hainan chicken with dark meat and grilled chicken, those are superb
One of those no frills, modern places where you can customize a box of chicken rice on a tablet and pick up your order. You can get the combination of both the steamed chicken and grilled and customize which sauces you want with it. It's pretty straight forward (~$17 pretax as of Dec 2023).
Comes with chicken broth if you want it. I reccomend the classic scallion oil dipping sauce if you want that authentic hainanese taste. You can get dark or light meat; I like the convenience that it's deboned for you. Chicken quality is average.
Yum yum yum

Inside is ok, could be better. I don't like small, noisy, crammed atmospheres. I am claustrophobic. In my opinion, rap music is not good for ANY establishment. However, the food, and service is EXCELLENT. Just would love a bigger space to eat inside.
Good *most* of the time.
I order here a lot and always have a good experience with the Hainanese chicken.
I would stay away from the fried or grilled chicken as they’re inconsistent with how they’re made. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes the meat is tough or over cooked - like it was sitting for a period of time.
